Sunday fun for 0 to 11 year olds
Allstars is our children’s programme that meets every Sunday morning during both services, 9.15am and 11am. Sunday services are a key place for whole families to meet with others, worship God and deepen their faith.
We have six different children’s groups taking place every Sunday, each led by a brilliant team of volunteers who are passionate about working with children. Each group has its own age-appropriate programme which involves worship, Bible stories, teaching, prayer, drama, games, crafts, testimony, memory verses, news and much more.
We also have an amazing inclusion team who provide one-to-one support for children who just need some extra help to enable them to join in with all the fun.
0-2 years old
A caring team awaits your 0-2 year old in the Beamers room. They’ll be surrounded by toys and ready to play, have a lovely cuddle, read a story or sing some songs.
2-3 years old
Sparklers is a fun place with bible stories, singing, prayer and craft as well as a good amount of play time. There’s a mixture of structure and freedom, perfect for a 2-3 year old.
Nursery & Reception
Shiners meet in Ridley Hall, a little building made especially for small people. We have lots of fun reading bible stories, praying, singing, doing crafts and playing games. Every Shiner loves to sit on the ‘news chair’ and share their news with all of their friends.
School Year 1-2
Crackers meet over the road in the main hall where we have a time to share our news from the week, dig into a Bible story together and then choose to get stuck into some games or crafting. We meet together every week with the bigger kids for worship, team chants, starzoids and more fun.
School Years 3-4
Lasers meet over the road in the main hall. They love to keep us up to date with their weekly highs and lows during news time, get stuck into a Bible story together and then get a little bit competitive in a game of some sort. We then meet together with Crackers and Voltage for team chants, starzoids, drama, teaching, worship and prayer.
School Years 5-6
Voltage meet in the side chapel just off the main Church and always start their time together catching up with each others news. We then spend some time digging into our Bibles and talking together about what the Bible means for our lives and how we can live for Jesus everyday. Every other week, we meet together with Crackers and Lasers for some worship and fun.
2nd and 4th Monday every month arts & crafts fun for kids between nursery and year 2
If you’re in school nursery to year 2 join us after school on the 2nd and 4th Mondays of the month for Mighty Makers, lots of fun for kids who love to make and craft.
At Mighty Makers we’ll have lots of great crafts to do. It’s a cool place to meet up with your friends and meet other kids. There will be fruit, biscuits and juice for a snack as well as coffee and tea for your parents and carers. Join us in the church hall and bring all your friends! It’s just £2 per child, per session, from 4:00pm – 5:00pm.
This term our theme is science, including cooking sessions, explosions, flying things and much more. We learn something about God with our friends Colin & Zuma and then get straight to crafting. There’s always time for a bounce on our bouncy castle as well.
For more information, call the office at 0208 579 9444 or email Bri L’Hostis.
Looking forward to seeing you there!
Each Tuesday for kids school years 3-6
If you are in school years 3-6 then come and join us at Breakout Kids club each Tuesday between 6-7.15pm.
A usual Breakout could involve bouncing on our very own bouncy castle, getting crafty, shootin’ some goals in the football zone, trying to beat the Breakout leaders in the games zone and a trip or two to our super healthy tuck shop (only kidding – it’s full of sweeties!). We have a whole bunch of totally mad leaders to get to know and there’s always games to compete in and prizes to be won! Keep your eyes peeled for our special events such as pyjama parties, challenge nights, ‘Breakout Live’ and other food themed specials.
If you’d like to come along join us any Tuesday during term time with 50p for entry. We can’t wait to see you there!

Easter Holiday Club 2017
For kids between Reception and School Year 6
We had so much fun hunting for treasure with Polly the Parrot last Easter holiday that we’re back again in 2017 with some circus fun! For every child in Reception to Year 6, join us and Elmo the Elephant’s crew as we head to the big top to discover more about Jesus.
This year we are going to be taking a closer look at some of Jesus’ amazing miracles. We’ll have time all together in the big top having loads of fun playing some messy games, singing, watching dramas and scoring points for our teams. We’ll also have time to split up in age specific groups for activities including crafts, sports and watching a movie.
We’d love for you to join us on 4, 5 and 6 April each day from 9:00am – 12:30pm. The cost for the three days will be £10/child. Click here to book a place for your child, if you have any questions, contact Abi Hedges.
Being on the The Big Top team could include being a group leader or helper, in this role you would befriend, lead and encourage children, get alongside them in their small groups, pray with and for them and generally have loads of fun. There are other roles too, we need people dedicated to games, craft, music and admin.
If you would like to be on team, then please click on the box below, fill in your details and press proceed. If you have a particular gift you’d be willing to use, please do let us know about it in the ‘notes’ section of the sign up. We’ll be in touch with all the information you need. Every team member over 17 years old will require a DBS check.
