Find your Group
Earlier this year, at Vision Night, we began to think through how we might develop our network of Life Groups to include new activity groups (sports, creative arts, photography), special interest study groups (Environment, Social Justice or Discipleship) as well as courses (Secret Life Course, Family Time Course). Our hope is that many more people, both from within our church family as well as those who are part of our local community, would find a group to be part of. The groups will run for one term of about 10 weeks.
Could I be a life group leader?
It’s not that hard. All l we ask of you is that you have a healthy relationship with Jesus and with St Paul’s. You will have enthusiasm about the topic or activity that you intend to pursue, and some knowledge or skill in that area. You need be neither an expert nor an Olympian. What is more important is that you are comfortable gathering the group of people that sign up to your group, and welcoming them into your meeting place.
These new groups will be additions to the current Life Groups, many of which will continue to run in the autumn.
Monica Backes is overseeing & coordinating all of these groups. We’d love to hear from you if you have already offered to lead one of these groups, or if you have an idea for a group that could begin.
For details on how to join a Life Group, please go to the Welcome Desk in the foyer at Church after a Sunday service, or call 020 8579 9444.
